Entrepreneurial Happening is a new event co-organized by UQO, Cégep de l’Outaouais, Heritage College, REMAA, Startup Café, CDROL and Cilex to promote entrepreneurship in the National Capital Region.
The academic part “Pitch your case” is a student competition where teams have 3 hours to solve a real business problem. Innovative solutions are then presented to executives of the selected company. Three scholarships are up for grabs, totaling $ 1850.
The second component is for entrepreneurs. “Pitch Your Business” allows entrepreneurs to present a business idea or an existing business at a cocktail event. In 3 minutes, entrepreneurs present their startup in front of the crowd and a jury to try to win their place for the Startupfest event.
This cocktail is a festive networking event and an opportunity for networking.
