A CO-CREATION CONTINUUM
Virtual event
November 21st 2020
The Inno-V 2020 event, in partnership with the City of Gatineau, aims to rally the community to find innovative and technological solutions for the COVID-19 challenges. The current pandemic context and its new circumstances (e.g., teleworking, gradual return to the workplace, etc.) entail several challenges. In order to solve these issues, 8 teams will be put together and given 7 hours to come up with a technological solution to a specific problem in the field of healthcare or education. The teams will be assisted by experts in both fields to design their business model and, thanks to the collaboration of In-Sec-M, each group will be joined by a cybersecurity specialist. Inno-V is an event built to foster a culture of co-creation and knowledge sharing.
Each team will consist of 6 participants grouped according to their field of interest (healthcare or education). The team’s goal will be to present an innovative concept to the judges, other teams and members of the public in 3 minutes, and then answer a few questions from the audience (7 min). The two winning teams—one per field—will win the award of best conceptual project and will then have the chance to take that project from the validation stage to the incubation phase.
In order to better support the Inno-V participants, two Cilex team members will take part in the event. They are the ones who will then help the winning teams in the development and commercialization of their innovative idea.

THE EXPERTS IN CYBERSECURITY
The importance of cybersecurity has come to the forefront dramatically with the new circumstances of the pandemic. Teleworking has forced companies to rethink their operations and people have increased their online shopping. In order to properly support the Inno-V participants in the creation of a technological and innovative solution that is also secure, cybersecurity specialists will be joining each team. Here are the specialists who will be coaching you:

THE JUDGES
After choosing a specific issue and finding a technological and innovative solution for it through the design thinking workshops, the Inno-V participants will have the opportunity to present their concept to recognized leaders of Quebec’s healthcare and education communities. The eight judges — four in health and four in education — will choose the two winning teams who will then be coached by Cilex free of charge. Here are our judges:
